Fixturing

How does the fixturing work?

The machine spindles have a female pilot and the fixtures have a male pilot. The fixtures fit into the machine spindles and bolt together with two bolts. The fitting together of the pilot, the face of the fixture and the face of the spindle, creates a sandwich type fit that ensures a long fixture life.

There are yoke fixtures, flange fixtures, and some other fixtures like the ball type fixture. They all bolt to the machine spindles using two hex head bolts or two socket head cap screws depending on the type of fixture. Using these fixtures is how you will hold the customers' driveline in the machine.
